Multi Apartment Video Door Phone system is normally utilized in 2 types of scheme.

1. High rise multiple apartments in single scheme.
2. Tenement or Bungalows in a Single Society / Residency scheme.

These type of system has 3 Layer Security.

1. Main Entrance Gate to Society / Apartment Scheme.
2. Lobby / Reception area at Ground floor of each tower.
3. Flat / Bungalow Main Door outside.

In this type of systems each flat / bungalow has minimum 1 indoor Video Door Station in form of 7” Display and outdoor station having camera at each of 3 above Layers.

Main Gate System or Lobby Panel is installed at Main Gate.

Lobby Panel is installed at each tower reception.

Indoor Video Door Phone is installed at each flat/bungalow inside.

VDP outdoor camera to each flat is optional. But, required in Bungalow type of schemes.

Normally, GATE towards Elevator/ Staircase is kept Locked with EM Lock and is connected with VDP system. Visitor has to call Flat owner and required to unlock by Flat Owner for allowing permission to Visitor. This is most and safest security for flat owners. Flat owners can unlock system using Finger Print Reader attached along with this system. Hence, integration of Access Control system is main part of Multi apartment video door phone system for best level security.

In this system, builders can provide Burglar alarm system facility which is part of Indoor Video Door Phone. Only few additional sensors are required to attach and necessary wiring is required for it.

Flat owners also get one more feature of CCTV Surveillance system view, if society has incorporated IP CCTV compatible to VDP system and both networks are same.
